Our funding policy
The causes of obesity are many and complex. They reach across society, necessitating a societal response. This requires organisations and individuals from the public, private and charitable sectors to work in partnership - both to provide solutions to the 30 per cent of our children who are already overweight or obese and to minimise the underlying causal issues. MEND welcomes support from any credible funding or delivery partner to help us to fulfil our mission by providing our programmes directly to communities. Whilst MEND also welcomes contributions to central programme development, and has successfully partnered with several companies in this way, we recognise potential reputational issues and so evaluate interested parties more rigorously. MEND will publicise our partners' support - and co-brand where appropriate - but we do not endorse specific products.
